Giavan Tiaras & Headpieces

In 1973, Bill and Harriet Albanese founded the company and label Giavan, named after Harriet's mother, Giavannina. This husband and wife team designed and assembled thoughtful and unique jewelry items by hand and began selling them to retailers throughout the northeastern U.S. Unique design elements and exceptional quality helped grow the company into a nationally recognized label, with assembly and design taking place both domestically and abroad. Although our product line has changed dramatically over the years, our commitment to quality, fashion-conscious jewelry and friendly, accomodating service has remained the same.

In the mid 1990s, Giavan entered the bridal headpiece market and quickly rose to prominence as a high-end label for exquisite bridal jewelry and tiaras. Since then, Giavan has established itself as a trend-setter in bridal accessories at both better and moderate price points. Our company's ability to quickly delivery high-quality, customized merchandise to the most demanding customers remains unmatched.

Unlike many of today's fashion jewelry distributors, Giavan prides iteself on designing original and unique pieces, rather then letting a factory design them for us. Currently, more than half our items are designed at our studio in New Jersey, allowing us to introduce new, fashion-conscious jewelry all year round. But design alone does not constitute exceptional jewelry so we continue to seek out the finest materials available and guarantee they are assembled to the highest standards.

Social occasion and bridal jewelry is our passion and knowing that we make special ocassions a little more special is what rewards us everyday.
